Carridale Interview

by Frank J. Miles

FJM:
What movie has the best music and the best soundtrack?

C:
Space Jam, no question.

FJM:
Which city do you have the biggest crush on – and are you most excited to visit?

C:
It would have to be a three way tie between San Antonio, TX, Austin, TX, or our hometown, Decatur, AL.

FJM:
How do your most obsessed fans describe your sound?

C:
I think pop punk is the typical description. Its the one we get the most anyhow.

FJM:
What’s your pre-performance ritual?

C:
Stretching! Always have to limber up before you act a fool.

FJM:
What’s your post-performance ritual?

C:
Hopefully showering

FJM:
Who is your biggest influence no one would expect or you keep hidden?

C:
I don’t think anyone would think we listened to Boston as much as we did when we tracked ‘Relapse in the River Ciy.’ But that band rules haha.

FJM:
Favorite drink in the United Kingdom?

C:
Beer, any and all of it.

FJM:
Who was your first artist crush?

C:
Madonna, no doubt.

FJM:
What is your favorite manmade sound?

C:
Pinch harmonics

FJM:
What type of workout should an athlete do to your music?

C:
Shake Weight

FJM:
Which athlete would you be most excited to hear is a fan?

C:
Ray Lewis.  Who doesn’t want to have Ray Lewis in their corner?

FJM:
What is your power animal?

C:
A bear, we have this obsession ever since we saw one.

FJM:
What article of clothing always gets the job done?

C:
T-shirts! They are good for everything! Sweat rags, towels to dry off after a shower, they can be turned into tank tops, they can be used to make gnarly torches.  T-shirts are the jam.

FJM:
What’s your favorite food to eat for breakfast while touring?

C:
Pancakes, all day, every day.
