MARGIELA: IN THE VOID, an extraordinary exhibition by the Parodi Costume Collection, takes us on a riveting journey through the enigmatic world of Martin Margiela’s iconic fashion creations. With a mission to educate and illuminate the realms of extraordinary creativity in fashion history, this showcase marks the culmination of years of careful curation. As visitors step into this visionary space, they are greeted with the absence – the missing elements that form complete looks, an ingenious representation of Margiela’s artistic essence. Collaborative dialogues with artists, designers, and experts from around the world breathe life into the exhibit, providing insights into the designer’s enigmatic persona. By presenting full looks in real-time, the exhibit transcends traditional museum norms, allowing viewers to witness the creative process firsthand. It’s a testament to Margiela’s unparalleled influence on fashion and a tribute to his pioneering spirit, pushing the boundaries of what fashion can be.

Byronesque produced didactics explaining the voids for each item on display, including a poetic tribute to Martin, co-written with Samson, that is the poignant finale void of the exhibit.
