What do you most value in your friends?

I meet my best friends in rugby, where we have to share moments of nervousness, tiredness, and happiness. At the end of the day, what I value is how crazy and passionate they are. They can make you smile while you are losing by 50 points. They always lift you up without a thought.

What is your favorite album cover of all time?

That would be Queen 2 or Queen in News of the World. Both are unexpected and fun in some way. They don’t make the same type nowadays. It is the mysterious looks, and then you hear the music, and your head explodes.

What is the best thing about Paris?

I think the best part of Paris is the architecture. When you walk in Paris, every road is a piece of art. You could walk for hours to no end and entertain yourself.

For an architect, it is the ultimate dream to live in Paris. And well, the city has amazing food, people, and shops. I always compare Buenos Aires to Paris. Both are beautiful, and one thing I do miss about Buenos Aires is the amount of nature we have all over.

When did you figure out you wanted to be an architect?

Growing up, children play with different toys, and in some way or another, that influences how they see the world. I played with Legos. So, for me, everything could be connected; you just had to find the right piece. And at the end, I thought that way about everything. If you want to write a book, start with pages and a building; you start brick by brick. At the end of the day, I was 15 years old and had all the tools I needed to become an architect.

How do you compile ideas? Screenshots? Sketches? Drawing apps?

A little of everything, all of those are useful. Google and Pinterest are quick finders; if you are lucky enough to have a library of architectural books, you can disconnect and feel the paper. Ultimately, you compile everything by hand in a drawing, which eventually goes into a 3D drawing. Another different tool is dreams or daydreaming. When you lose yourself in your head and explore cities you have never seen, spaces that only you can see, but those are the hard ones. To bring nothingness to reality, to paper, is the hardest part.

What is your favorite building in Paris?

I’m really simple in that way. One of the unique places you can enjoy while moving around Paris is the Eiffel Tower. Although Vegas has a small copy… nothing compares to having it at the back of the building, ready to be appreciated the second you look her way. Paris is beautiful, but I can’t imagine something more iconic that makes Paris what it is than the Eiffel Tower.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Right now, the one I wish for the most is to be able to communicate in any language. Being in Paris, there are so many different languages in the background, and of course, French is no easy language itself. Even my coworkers laughed at me every time I mentioned that half the words were not really pronounced. However, communication and understanding can be crucial to being comfortable and becoming one with the country you moved to.

How often do you practice rugby? What is your usual training routine?

Nowadays, I had to stop. I used to practice three times a week, and I went to the gym three more times for weight lifting. Now, I follow the same pattern that I have adapted to my current lifestyle. So, three times a week, I go to the gym, and two times a week, I run. But the training routine doesn’t end with just doing sports. Eating is as essential as sleeping. You need to eat healthy and balance to keep growing. I don’t drink alcohol, and I don’t smoke. Everything you do outside of sports affects your sports life.

Do you have a secret crush?

Yes. Growing up, I discovered James Bond’s The World Is Not Enough. And, of course, I fell in love with Denise Richards. It was like a dream come true.

She was a nuclear expert with the looks of a model. Who wouldn’t fall for that? And being in my teen years didn’t help the fact that she already looked incredible in any of her movies. And, of course, I connected with another movie—Starship Troopers, where she also plays a part. And always the action adventure with a beautiful actress and my imagination of being the hero made me fall for them.
