1. What hair-sculpting design did you have the most fun doing?

Honestly, I have fun with all of them, but the most satisfying hair sculpt I’ve ever done was the Star Puffs. I surprised myself with how symmetrical I was able to make them. In fact it was so symmetrical that when I showed how durable they were due to using hairspray, people thought they were spinning! It literally created an optical illusion.

2. Do you hope to inspire others to express themselves through their hair?

Absolutely. The whole purpose of my presence online is to influence hair sculpting to become as normal as wearing braids, wigs, etc. Like any other skill, learning it takes time. But once you understand it, it becomes second nature. It’s still fresh and new for many people, and I know the world will shine much brighter once more people tap into this art. Natural hair is a blank canvas, and I look forward to seeing others embrace it on a regular basis.

3. What are your favorite reactions to your videos?

My favorite reactions are probably when people say, “I didn’t know that was possible,” or “I never thought of trying that myself.” These responses show me that my work is opening up new perspectives—not just about the aesthetics and versatility of natural hair but also about what people believe they can now do with their own hair.

4.How long have you been hair-sculpting, and what inspired you to begin?

I started hair sculpting in December 2023, so it’s been about a year. My inspiration came from collecting historical photos on Pinterest and creating a video titled “Being Normal Is Boring.” Before making that video, I usually wore my hair in a classic round shape. But after seeing a 1971 photo of a heart-shaped hairstyle, I decided to recreate it in my hair. That style went viral, and I’ve been sculpting ever since.

5. What is your favorite part of the videos you create?

My favorite part of hair sculpting is dressing up to complement the style. I realized that paying attention to my outfit not only helps highlight the hairstyle but also completes the overall look. It’s a way to communicate the vibe of the hair sculpt, and it brightens the whole concept.

6. What’s an outfit you wear when you don’t want anyone to see you?
(I don’t have a photo for this question) haha

7. What music do you listen to while doing your hair?

I listen to so many different genres, but a few artists that are on repeat right now is LOKOWAT, French Police, Crystal Castles, MAZE, and DeBARGE.

8. What outfit describes who you are the most?

The outfit I wore for the Bubble Flip photoshoot. I love classy, mature, professional wear. I feel the most powerful when I wear this style of clothing.
